Key Club Raises Awareness for Homelessness
Key Club recently participated in a Reggie’s Sleep out event, a night to raise awareness and money for the homeless and at-risk youth in Iowa. Due to COVID-19 Drake University has no longer been able to host the event in their stadium but Key Club was able to spend the evening at Ankeny High School learning more about the homelessness in Iowa, picking up trash around the school, and we also made 84 care packages for the Ankeny Service Center. As a club we were able to raise $525, all of which will be donated to Reggie’s Sleep out to help those in need in our community.
