C.O.R.E. (Community of Racial Equity) is a youth club aimed at discussing and tackling racial equity. Our goals are to educate students on topics of race, begin outreach with administrators and students alike, and establish a strong foundation for the future of Ankeny.

All are welcome in C.O.R.E., and we encourage students to join in the conversation.

From an involved student: “On a more personal note, C.O.R.E. is a way for me to share my feelings while also learning about others. It gives me an outlet to share emotions that I might not be able to discuss otherwise. People who come to C.O.R.E. come to listen and learn, and that (in my opinion) is very rare at our school.”
