National Honor Society is an academic and service organization with a long tradition at Ankeny High School. We plan and sponsor Lights Out, perform service projects, and donate money to school improvement projects. Students with a 3.5 unweighted grade point average can apply for membership by completing the application, which is linked to the Ankeny High School website. The application is then reviewed by a group of teachers who make the final decision as to membership.
