Welcome to Hawkette Softball

As coaches, our goal is to transform our girls into ladies, to build love, confidence, gratitude and mudita on and off the field, and to create a Hawkette tradition and legacy so strong that it leaves a footprint on the player’s hearts forever.

As players, they have created their own purpose, centering around five values: Team, Hard work, Intensity, Commitment, and Challenge. Team means to do what you have to for the team to succeed, and always put the team above yourself. Hard work means to come to practice and games every single day ready to get better and focus. No whining, no complaining, and no excuses. Intensity means to play not just with your own skill and ability, but with your heart and love of the game. Play with heart, hustle, and holler, and by doing this you will bring out a whole new level of intensity to the game. To be committed is to make softball your full priority in the summer, to be there mentally and physically, and to be early and a part of the team 24/7. Step outside of your comfort zone and surprise yourself with the abilities you have, that is what it means to challenge on this team. Play with no regrets and challenge yourself to find your role on the team and execute that role every day.
